The calendar on your LockMyCal dashboard has learned things you can't do without in everyday work: it handles recurring events and can add more guests to a booking.

Recurring events

When you edit or delete an event from a recurring series, LockMyCal asks what the change applies to:

  • This event,
  • This and following events,
  • All events.

Changing the recurrence rule for “this and following” splits the series in two. You can also move the whole series to another calendar (CalDAV, Google, Outlook); the video meeting and the series' colours carry over. For a booking, the attendee gets an email about the time change or the cancellation. A meeting organised by someone else can't be moved or split, and if the provider's calendar doesn't allow a change, the application says so.

More guests for a booking

The meeting card on the Meetings page now has an Add guest button: it invites more people to an already existing booking. Each one gets an invitation by email and can accept or decline it. You can add at most 10 guests to one meeting. The meeting card also lists its reminders.

Quick add of a meeting

The quick add in the calendar and the Add meeting dialog now support a note for the guest, more guests and a choice of the language of the invitation, in which all emails about the meeting are written. Without a reminder chosen, the default 30-minute reminder is no longer sent.

For self-hosters: error tracking

Errors, crashes and failed jobs are now stored in the application's database; nothing is sent to third parties. Secrets and email addresses are redacted before storing. The administrator gets an email about a new or returning error (with ADMIN_ALERTS_ENABLED on), and the feature can be switched off with the ERROR_TRACKING_ENABLED variable. Back up your database before updating, as new tables and columns are added.

You'll find the details in the documentation: Overview, Managing Bookings and Admin Console.
