LockMyCal, unlike standard booking tools, doesn’t just show when you’re available. It decides when you’re willing to accept another appointment. You set how many appointments you want to schedule, how much time you want to devote to them, and when you don’t want to be disturbed. Clients can then choose only from times that truly work for you. If you also set up request approval, you’ll have everything fully under control.

In availability settings, define maximum meetings per day and how much time you want to spend in them. Block off personal time, lunch breaks, or outside office hours. LockMyCal applies these rules automatically to available booking slots.

How does LockMyCal prevent double bookings?
Whenever a client attempts to book, LockMyCal checks all your connected calendars (personal, work, team) in real time. If you have any event marked as 'busy' during that time, that slot is simply never offered.
Can I self-host LockMyCal on my own server?
Yes! LockMyCal is an open-source solution that you can easily run on your own server or NAS via Docker. This gives you 100% control over all data and your database.
Can I charge for meetings before the consultation begins?
Yes, direct integration with Stripe lets you set a fixed price per meeting. The booking is only confirmed once payment is completed. In the cloud, accepting payments is included with the Pro plan.
Can I embed the booking form into my existing website?
Absolutely. We provide a simple universal embed code for both inline widgets and popup buttons on any website.
Can I host group meetings or webinars?
Yes. On a meeting type you turn on group bookings and set the number of seats (up to 999). Each participant gets their own booking, link and emails, and a full slot disappears from the booking page. You can limit the group to invited email addresses only. In the cloud this is part of the Pro plan.
