v1.23.0

STABLE Latest Released October 11, 2026
New Features
  • Group meetings and webinars: A meeting type can take several participants per slot (up to 999). Each gets their own seat, link, emails and calendar file; full slots disappear from the booking page and a seat can be moved. In the cloud this is a Pro feature.
  • Invitation only: Limit a group type to a list of email addresses; only an invited person can book a seat, and only for themselves.
  • Buffers before and after: Each availability schedule has a separate buffer before and after a meeting.
  • Hours past midnight: A day’s hours can end on the next day (Ends the next day), and slots across midnight are offered.
  • Import from .ics: Add events to the calendar with the Import button or by dropping a file.
  • Prefilled form: A link with #name=…&email=… prefills the guest’s name and email.
  • Brazilian Portuguese: The eighth language of the interface, booking pages and emails.
  • Your own logo: Upload your logo under Theme (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG). It replaces the LockMyCal logo in the top bar of your booking page, public calendar, cancel, reschedule and poll pages and at the head of the emails about your meetings. In the cloud it is a Pro feature; the “Powered by LockMyCal” footer stays.
  • Meeting types in the widget: The Show in embedded widget switch decides which types the widget on your website offers, independently of the public page. The data-meeting attribute opens the widget straight on one type; you can also pick the type in Embed & Share.
  • The widget’s look: Inside the widget there is only the logo, centred, the language follows the browser, and the background is the theme’s, transparent or a colour of your choice (data-background). The Embed & Share settings are saved.
  • Hidden widget address: A random address instead of your username, so neither the widget code nor the emails for bookings made through it give away your public page. In the cloud it is a Pro feature.
  • A meeting type can last up to 24 hours.
Enhancements
  • A new meeting type is created in the same tabbed form as editing.
  • Telegram and Slack can subscribe to all six booking events, as webhooks can, including approval requests, declines and expiries.
  • Dark mode in every email.
  • Upcoming meetings are listed soonest first. Joining from the meetings list uses the host’s own video link.
  • Accessibility: the sidebar on a phone closes with Escape and the current page is marked for screen readers.
Bug Fixes
  • Saving a group meeting type no longer turns it back into a one-to-one type.
  • Fixed the calendar’s behaviour when editing a group meeting.
  • Update calendar's behaviour when a group meeting is edited.
  • A + in an email prefilled from a link is kept.
  • The booking calendar updates its bookable days when the time zone changes.
  • Spaces in long imported event titles and descriptions are kept.
  • The Payments page title and the server address hint for iCloud and mailbox.org are translated.

Previous Releases & History

v1.22.0 STABLE October 4, 2026
New Features
  • Saved locations: A new Locations page with your meeting places: add, edit, delete and reorder them by dragging, each showing how many meeting types offer it. Before you delete a location a meeting type uses, the app warns you.
  • Choosing a location when booking: An in-person meeting can offer one or more saved locations, and you create a new one right in the meeting type. With several, the guest picks one; with none, they learn that you will arrange the address after booking, and the emails say so.
  • Location on reschedule: A rescheduled meeting stays at its location, or the guest picks another of those offered.
  • Existing in-person addresses are turned into saved locations automatically; a meeting type card shows the location's name or how many it offers.
  • Bookings in your own calendar too: When you book a meeting on someone else's booking page while signed in, it is also saved to your default calendar. The form asks, and can remember your choice; the copy moves and is cancelled along with the meeting. Signed-out visitors are offered to sign in and are brought back to the same time slot afterwards.
  • Default calendar: On the Calendars page you set which calendar is your default; for an account with several calendars you pick one of them. The Your bookings on other pages setting decides whether to ask each time, always save, or never.
  • Your contact details: In a meeting type's Booking Rules you decide whether a signed-in booker sees your email and phone; by default they see only your name.
Enhancements
  • A meeting you booked with someone else shows on your dashboard from your side: under the host's name, with the attendee's join link and the Awaiting host approval badge; only the host can approve it.
  • A new look of the app in LockMyCal colours and fonts (Schibsted Grotesk and IBM Plex Mono), including dark mode and the sign-in page background.
  • On short windows (a phone in landscape) the booking page hides the footer and slims the top bar, so the buttons stay visible.
  • A refused image is reported as too large, and removing its metadata keeps its quality.
Security
  • A narrower Content-Security-Policy and reCAPTCHA loaded only once a form is being filled in; when Google cannot be reached, bookings and sign-ups go through. Cloudflare Turnstile still refuses during an outage.
  • Location and device details are removed from uploaded avatars and backgrounds.
  • Calendar files for guests no longer contain the booker's private details.
  • Webhook URLs, custom meeting links and secrets are stored encrypted; poll, RSVP, free/busy and Telegram links as hashes; going back to an older version no longer brings back replaced links and secrets.
  • Analytics without reversible visitor hashes, ad click identifiers or links carrying tokens; IP addresses, unverified accounts and payment records are kept for a shorter time.
  • Email recipients and subjects are not written to the log; links in emails are not rewritten for click tracking; the app no longer connects to data.iana.org.
Bug Fixes
  • Submitting a form no longer hangs when the reCAPTCHA check stalls.
  • Czech and other accented characters no longer turn into garbage in events written to CalDAV calendars (e.g. Radicale).
  • Edits in the dashboard calendar are not overwritten or written twice, even with several tabs open or after reconnecting.
  • When a booking is rescheduled, details you added to the event in a CalDAV calendar are kept; a deleted event is recreated.
  • The Show these bookings as free on my calendar switch of a meeting type is saved.
  • Correct booking times for Manitoba and the Northwest Territories.
  • Events from a calendar without its own colour have readable text.
v1.21.0 STABLE October 2, 2026
New Features
  • Polish: Polish is now a supported language of the interface, the booking pages and the emails (alongside English, Czech, German, French, Italian and Ukrainian).
  • Contacts export: The Export CSV button on the Contacts page downloads the contacts (name, email, phone, company, note) to a CSV file; with a search filled in, only the matching ones.
Enhancements
  • New event dialogs in the calendar: the title in the header, Event / Meeting tabs, calendar and video chosen from a dropdown, reminders added with the “+” button; the title of a new event is required.
  • A three-way appearance switch (light / system / dark) in the top bar and links to the documentation and the website.
  • The Overview also shows requests awaiting approval, and a click opens the meeting in the calendar; the meeting card lists its reminders.
  • The “View full calendar” button sits at the top right of the booking page (Quill and Rhythm).
  • The default schedule and meeting types of a new account are named in the user's language.
  • The public calendar shows only Monday to Friday by default (the Show weekends option); the current day is highlighted with a colour across the whole day in the calendars.
  • A booking's title is stored in the organiser's language and shown to guests in their language in emails.
  • Booking pages and emails no longer load fonts from Google.
  • On Cloudron, the sign-in button carries the name of your identity provider.
  • The logo in the top bar of the booking pages links to the organiser's booking page; the footer of the dashboard and the booking pages shows “Powered by LockMyCal · v” and a “Report a bug” link (it leads to the website's forum).
  • Rescheduling a booking also moves the event in iCloud; mailbox.org no longer adds your login address to bookings.
  • Dates in the dashboard calendar are written in each language's own order; month headings are capitalised and in their standalone form.
  • A URL with a trailing slash redirects to the slashless address; screen readers announce required fields.
  • An event written to a connected calendar has its own UID, so the cancel and reschedule links stay safe.
Bug Fixes
  • Choosing when a recurrence ends (“Ends after” / “Ends on”) no longer jumps back to “Never ends”.
  • The public calendar of an organiser with the Rhythm theme renders correctly.
SAAS
  • Pro+ – your own calendar: An add-on to paid Pro (€2 / CZK 50 / $3 per month) – an independent calendar hosted in the EU, connected to your bookings and available in Outlook, Apple Calendar, Android and on the web. Guide
  • The Pro plan now lets you connect up to 6 calendars.
  • A "Your current plan" card on the Overview.
v1.20.0 STABLE September 29, 2026
New Features
  • Adding a guest to a booking: The Add guest button on the meeting card invites more people to an existing booking.
  • Quick add of a meeting: Now with a note for the guest, extra guests and a choice of the invitation language.
  • Reminders on the booking card: The meeting card lists its reminders.
Enhancements
  • The number of meetings created with quick add is limited to 20 per 10 minutes per user.
  • Quick add no longer sends a reminder nobody asked for.
  • With CalDAV, events from the calendar grid are saved to the calendar you picked.
  • An event's video room is kept when you move it to another calendar.
Bug Fixes
  • The video room of a deleted event is deleted even with shared calendars.
  • The missing “in” is back in the attendee reminder subject.
v1.19.0 STABLE September 29, 2026
New Features
  • Recurring events: In the calendar on your dashboard you edit or delete just one event, this and the following, or the whole series (CalDAV, Google, Outlook); a series can be split.
  • Moving a series: You move a whole recurring event to another calendar.
  • Error tracking: Errors, crashes and failed jobs are stored in the application's database (nothing is sent to third parties) and the administrator gets an email about a new or returning error; it can be switched off with the ERROR_TRACKING_ENABLED variable.
Enhancements
  • Attendees get a cancellation when you delete an event, and a notice when the time of a recurring event changes.
  • A burst of new errors reaches the administrator as one roll-up email.
  • Admin alerts keep being retried until the mail server recovers; an error is logged when there is no recipient.
  • Alerts about disputes and calendar sync show the real reason and keep calendar owners' email addresses out.
  • Provider logos stay sharp at every size and screen density.
Security
  • Booking cancel links are no longer exposed in calendar events.
  • Meeting links and poll tokens are kept out of the request log.
  • Deleting someone else's event never sends a cancellation.
Bug Fixes
  • Google: recurring events show every occurrence, including series changed after setup; events already deleted are no longer shown.
  • CalDAV: a moved occurrence no longer also shows at its old time; details the grid doesn't show are kept when editing.
  • Quick successive edits of one event are applied in order.
  • A CalDAV outage no longer raises an alert on every sync cycle.
  • The icons in Quill's booking confirmation rows are centred.

Enhancements
  • Admin audit log with pagination and full email addresses; pagination added to Users and Contacts overviews.

  • Application follows browser locale; reminder durations format in reader language.
  • Refined Polish and Ukrainian translations; accessible keyboard navigation for location selection in the Rhythm theme.
Security
  • Hardened authentication & registration: forms prevent email enumeration, social logins require verified emails, IPv6 rate limiting evaluates entire /64 subnets, and new logins invalidate previous sessions.
  • Disabled accounts remain strictly locked out during Google, GitHub, and OIDC authentications.
Bug Fixes
  • Fixes for Microsoft Teams meetings (missing join link, duplicated events in Outlook).
  • Outlook sync improvements: no crashes on rejected requests, push subscriptions renew in place.
  • Large CalDAV calendars no longer cause memory spikes; edits and deletions on default calendars sync correctly.
  • Quick-add guests receive a single invitation instead of two; guests can no longer reply to past or canceled appointments.
  • Recovered background jobs do not re-send emails and webhooks; meeting polls cannot be finalized on time-off days.
  • Dark mode UI fixes (contact picker, location selector, approval modal).
