Booking Core & Meeting Types

A flexible system for creating meeting offers, individual consultations and group polls with full control over your time.

18 key features
Unlimited Meeting Types

Define any durations (15, 30, 45, 60, 90+ minutes) with custom descriptions and instructions for attendees.

Smart Breaks

Set a break (buffer) separately before and after a meeting, for each availability schedule.

Daily, Weekly and Monthly Booking Limits

Limit the number of bookings per day, week or month – for the whole profile and for individual meeting types.

Daily Meeting Time Limit

Set how many hours of meetings you can have on individual days of the week (e.g. Monday max. 2 h). Longer slots then stop being offered.

Time Off and Holidays

Block days off without touching the calendar; the app warns you about a clash with already existing bookings.

Spacing of Offered Times

Offer meeting start times at a fixed spacing (e.g. every 15 minutes) regardless of the meeting length.

Minimum Notice & Booking Horizon

Prevent unexpected last-minute bookings (e.g. at least 24 hours in advance) and limit the look-ahead into the future.

Group Polls

Propose several dates to a group of attendees, let them vote and confirm the winning time with one click.

Custom URL Slugs for Meetings [PRO]

Create professional readable links (/john-novak/strategic-consultation) for every meeting type.

Hidden and Private Meetings

Create secret meeting types that are not shown on your public profile and are accessible only through a link.

Dynamic Time Zone Conversion

The client always sees free slots converted to their local time, with automatic time zone detection.

Meeting Type Translations

The title, description and additional questions in several languages – the guest sees your texts in their language.

Booking attachments

The client attaches files to a booking (e.g. materials for the meeting); they are private, checked by type and downloadable only by the organiser. The instance administrator sets the limits.

Quick add of a meeting

Create a meeting right in the calendar with a note for the guest, extra guests and the invitation language.

Group meetings and webinars [PRO]

One slot for several participants (a workshop, class or webinar) with up to 999 seats. Each participant gets their own seat, link and emails; full slots disappear from the booking page.

Invitation-only group meetings [PRO]

Limit a group type to a list of email addresses; only an invited person can book a seat, and only for themselves.

Hours past midnight

A day’s availability can end on the following day (e.g. 20:00–02:00).

Prefilled booking form

A link with #name=…&email=… prefills the guest’s name and email, e.g. from a newsletter or a CRM.

04 / Questions

Frequently asked questions about features and integrations

Clear answers regarding calendar synchronization, data security, automation workflows, and self-hosting.

How exactly does conflict checking across several calendars work?

In the calendar settings, you can mark any number of your calendars for conflict checking (e.g. a work Google Workspace calendar, a private Apple iCloud one and a team Outlook one). As soon as you have an event with the status "Busy" in any of them, LockMyCal immediately blocks that time for client bookings.

What is the difference between the Self-Hosted version and LockMyCal Cloud?

In the Self-Hosted version (Open-Source under the AGPLv3 license), you run the software on your own infrastructure (Docker, Cloudron, Railway) and have all the features fully available. In LockMyCal Cloud, we take care of operation, backups and scaling on our secure servers, and the advanced features (a custom username and meeting type links, automation via webhooks, Slack and Telegram, custom questions, analytics, contacts, group meetings and webinars, and payments via Stripe) are part of the Pro subscription. In the cloud, you can connect up to 2 calendars on Free and up to 6 on Pro.

Does LockMyCal support the automatic creation of video conferences?

Yes. We support direct generation of unique video rooms for Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Jitsi Meet, kMeet, Nextcloud Talk and the private open-source server MiroTalk. For any other platform (e.g. Whereby), you can use a custom link. The link is automatically inserted into the invitation for both parties.

Can I require approval of a meeting before it is definitively confirmed?

Yes, for every meeting type you can turn on the option I confirm every booking myself. The client sends a request for a time, and you approve or reject it in the administration with one click.

How can I connect LockMyCal to my company system?

Using Webhooks (HTTP POST secured by a token in the X-Lockmycal-Token header), which are sent when a meeting is created, cancelled or moved, and for approval requests (new, declined, expired). Guides are ready for connecting to the n8n and Make automation platforms, from where you can link them to your invoicing, CRM or another company system.
