Version 1.23 brings a feature many of you have asked about: group meetings and webinars. It also adds a few small things that save time with every booking, plus the news from version 1.22.
Group meetings and webinars
On a meeting type you turn on group bookings and set the number of seats, up to 999 per slot. It suits workshops, classes, webinars or group consultations.
- Each participant has their own booking, a link to manage it and emails with a calendar file.
- A full slot disappears from the booking page on its own, and free seats are shown as they change.
- You can limit the group to invited people only: enter a list of email addresses and only an invited person can book a seat, and only for themselves.
- The Meetings page shows the seats taken and the list of participants.
A group meeting needs a location fixed in advance and cannot be combined with payment or approval. In the cloud, group meetings are part of the Pro plan.
Availability your way
- Buffer before and after a meeting: each schedule has a separate buffer before and after a meeting, for example 5 minutes to prepare and 15 to write notes.
- Hours past midnight: a day can end on the following day, e.g. 20:00–02:00.
- A meeting type can last up to 24 hours.
Faster booking and calendar
- Prefilled form: a link with
#name=…&email=…fills in the guest’s name and email, e.g. from a newsletter or a CRM. - Import from .ics: add events to the calendar with the Import button or by dropping a file.
- Telegram and Slack can now subscribe to all six booking events, approval requests included.
Brazilian Portuguese
LockMyCal now speaks Brazilian Portuguese too. It is the eighth language of the application, the booking pages and the emails.
News from version 1.22
- Saved locations: save office and venue addresses on the Locations page, and the guest picks one when booking.
- Your bookings on other pages in your calendar: when you book a meeting with another LockMyCal user while signed in, a copy is saved to your default calendar and moves or is cancelled together with the meeting.
- Default calendar: on the Calendars page you choose where bookings are written.
- Your contact details: per meeting type you decide whether the booker sees your email and phone.
You will find the full list of changes in the changelog.
